the same old mess

I need a new template. This one is nice, but it’s getting boring. I think I’ll stick with the black background and see if I can implement the question mark, though. I’m hoping to get away from this repetitive boxy theme. I don’t want more rectangles. If I’m lucky, I’ll come up with something futuristic, gradiants and such. It’s too abstract to work out right now. I experimented a little with doing a magazine-based layout, I scanned a magazine and I’m going to try that. But I do’nt think it’s going to work on this page, it doesn’t fit the content.

We had dinner at Kennedy’s tonight. Good food, I guess, it’s the first time I’ve ever been there. I had mahi mahi which was actually pretty bad, but everyone else seemed to like it, and I just traded my dad for some steak.

I’ve got a bit of a soar throat. Hopefully it’ll just go away. I’ve got a lot to do tomorrow, all my homework, driver’s ed, among other things.

“Drunken Lullabies” by Flogging Molly just finished. It’s a good song. Irish pop-punk, and overly energetic. It gets my whole body sorta bouncing just listening to it. But I’m pretty sure I’ve already talked about this. Now Good Charlotte’s “Seasons” is playing.

I’ve gotta pee, so that’s it for now.

pseudo-erotica

pseudo-erotica

Rorschach drawings formed of blood
the gun lies silent on the floor
brains drip down; a cerebral flood:
the peaceful child is no more.

How ridiculous.

crybaby

How do you measure a man? How often he cries, how many bricks he can lift, how easily he is broken? How many people he loves, how many people love him? Not by who his father was, not anymore. How much money he has? More often than we should. How much fun he has? His sense of humor? How well his children love him, or how good he is in bed? Perhaps a combination thereof. Maybe we shouldn’t measure at all. Thou shall not judge. That sounds like the best of all.
