grandson of an alien

Uchk, I think I had too much fettuccine alfredo for dinner. We went out to The Great Impasta. It was all right. The food wasn’t fantastic, but I had clam chowder, which is hard to deny even if it’s only sufficiently decent.

My plan to stay at home today was shattered rather quickly. I went furniture shopping for three hours with my mom. Woo, exciting. This cut into my plans for the day, so I didn’t get too much done. My goal was to have an outline for my history paper by this weekend, but that’s probably not going to happen. Ah, so it goes.

While driving around today I saw Cordelia protesting. Or, rather, getting into her dad’s car. I was tempted to honk, but figured that would just unnerve my mother (and myself). So I resigned myself to staring at the car in front of me in the mass of rubbernecking traffic. I don’t mind, but if I don’t pay attention it’s dangerous.

because it’s fun to act like a 6 year old

because it’s fun to act like a 6 year old

Saturday morning. How I do savor 10 hours of sleep. It’s almost sad, though, because as soon as I wake up I am again faced with things I don’t want to do. Today I’m not going to leave the house. I’ll stay inside, do whatever homework I can bring myself to, and spend a quiet evening reading or doing something on the computer. This’ll be good, because I’ve been putting off a number of things I should have done a little while ago.

I just realized BlogSpot has begun placing two ads at the top of pages. Darn you, BlogSpot. But at the same time I can’t really blame them, as it’s not like providing all us annoying teenagers with a place to vent provides any other feasible method of income for them. So indeed, they are forgiven. Heh, as if they would care about my forgiveness. But hey, it’s my blog, so I’ll say what I please.

Yesterday Zoë, Annie, Ben, Maggie, Matt, and I hung out on campus after school. Hooray for short days. We meandered on over to Za’s and had a grand old time. Then Matt had to go to baseball practice. At 4 we went back to Kenney to be picked up by Annie’s mom to go over to her house. Zoë had to go home, though. *sad face*. But the remaining musketeers stopped by Rentertainment to get a couple movies, Office Space and Sybil. Matt came back after practice in time to watch Office Space, which was tons of fun. *happy face*. Sybil would have scared the crap out of me, had we not interjected plenty of levity in the form of frequent wrestling matches. I had to leave early, too, around 9, so I didn’t even see the worst parts of it.
