New Jersey!

After returning from a whirlwind tour of Scandinavia and the mid-South, a trip to the family home on the Jersey shore was in order. After a blissful two weeks of doing nothing but going out every night with the class and/or fixing Stax computer, Zuke, Kangway and I struck out across the country heading East towards the ocean. 14 hours later we were rolling onto a rainy Long Beach Island, where we spent the week doing very, very little. Zuke and Kangway ran a lot, we swam when the water wasn’t too cold, ate a lot, watched movies in the evening, sampled some of the products of la Maison Zukoski, and so on and so on. It was a very relaxing week, with no real eventful happenings. I did make it back to Long Hill for a day. It’s amazing how some people have changed. But, I guess it’s also to be expected. I’m trying to work out flying back in August, to stay with Scott and some more time at the shore, perhaps with Anita and Kimmy, and with some luck even a night in New York. It’s sort of the last chance to see everyone before we get flung to the four corners. Which is… something I don’t want to think about.
